Revelate Tangle Frame Bag

This framebag from Revelate Designs is great if you don't want to fill up the entire front triangle with a bag, saving some space for water bottle cages.  Here's what Revelate have to say about it:

2015 updates: Interior pump mount straps, additional padding, secondary divider in left pocket and premium coated webbing attachments.

Tangle™ bags are rectangular-shaped half frame bags. They can be used for everyday riding & commuting, or any adventure big and small.

The main compartment features an exit port for a hydration tube or battery wire, a zippered flat left side pocket holds smaller stuff. Attachment is made with reinforced velcro along the top tube, other mounts are adjustiable with webbing and low profile camlock buckles with strap keepers. All attachment points bartacked for strength.

Tangle's usually leave room for both water bottle mounts. To check, measure the vertical height from the top of the bottle to the top tube and compare with bag height. In some cases you may need to use side entering cages or smaller bottles.

    Well made and highly functional

Posted by Frank McCollum on 17th May 2016

The Tangle is a very well constructed half-frame bag. I ordered the large and it fits my Kona Sutra perfectly (21" top tube). Although I haven't fully loaded it yet, it seems quite spacious.

Caution: If you go for this bag or similar, you will need to go to side entry bottle cages and short bottles to continue to carry water bottles in frame cages. But I've done that, and they work fine.

If you change out your handlebars for the Jones Loop H-bar, this appears to be one of the better options to a standard handlebar bag.
