About us

My name is Jeff Jones. I'm a cyclist committed to the non-suspended bicycle. My ideas and passion have created an exceptional ride - a trail-blazing geometry that delivers superb handling, comfort and efficiency. My bikes are available in titanium and steel, to be ridden off-road (and on) for exploring and racing, adventures and fun. They are outrageously responsive bicycles - frame and forks designed in harmony to provide a rigid bicycle that is anything but. A pure cycling experience like no other.

The SWB Diamond Frame offers more frame bag space and water bottle bosses while weighing less than the Spaceframe, making it a great fit for bikepacking and touring.

The SWB is for riding fast, slow, the rough with the smooth; safely, aggressively, laid-back or raging; with a big load or stripped to the bare essentials; on road, dirt, mud, snow; in the mountains, on the flat lands, around town or across the county; around the world or your local loop; for getting rad or just getting away. It sets a new standard for bikepacking, yes, but it’s so much more than that – it’s a bike for technical trails and big trips. It really does it all.

What's new?

  • Now simply called the LWB, the part of the name “PLUS” has been dropped. The geometry of the frame and fork is exactly the same. The name PLUS LWB just really doesn't make sense anymore.
  • UDH. That means this frame is compatible with SRAM’s Transmission derailleur as well as traditional (non full mount) derailers using a UDH hanger. One of the best things about UDH is that you can find a replacement hanger just about anywhere.
  • 180mm post mount brake tabs on the frame and fork with a maximum rotor size of 220mm. Post mount tabs are designed with braces and replaceable barrel nuts.

Jones SWB Titanium Diamond Frame Specs:

  • Available in Medium and Large: all for use with 29er / 27.5+ tires.
  • Unique Jones Geometry frameset – frames and forks designed together as one.
  • Beautifully hand TIG welded, 3AL-2.5V titanium tubing, heat treated.
  • EBB for geometry adjustment and single speed chain tension.
  • UDH (Universal derailleur hanger).
  • Post mount 180mm brake tab with removable barrel nuts for easy serviceability and long term reliability. Maximum rotor size of 220mm.
  • Diamond Frame for added frame bag capacity and stiffness for heavy loads while weighing less than the Spaceframe.
  • Butted 3AL-2.5V Titanium tubing for a comfortable ride, light weight, and great durability.
  • Excellent frame clearance for 29+ tires (10mm+ clearance either side with a 29+ tire – with a 29er tire you can get a palm in between the tire and stays).
  • 148mm Boost spacing.
  • Multiple rear rack and fender mounts for the best rack/fender/tire size fit, allowing for a wide range of configurations.
  • Triple bosses on top of the down tube, for an anything-style cage or a standard 2-bolt bottle cage. There's also a standard bottle mount on top of the down tube near the head tube.
  • Triple bottle bosses underneath downtube for mounting cages or a standard 2-hole water bottle cage.
  • EBB, 68mm shell, threaded for standard BSA bottom brackets.
  • 27.2mm seatpost.
  • 34.9mm / 35mm seatpost clamp size.
  • Max tire size: 27.5” x 3.25” or 29” x 2.6”.

Jones SWB Titanium Truss Fork Specs:

  • Comfortable, precise handling, no brake shudder
  • Beautifully hand TIG welded, 3AL-2.5V titanium tubing, heat treated.
  • 150mm x 15mm thru-axle front hub spacing. The wide flanges of a 150mm hub increases wheel strength/stiffness, as well as giving you the opportunity to easily swap in a fat front wheel and tire if your heart desires.
  • Post mount 180mm brake tab with removable barrel nuts for easy serviceability and long term reliability.  Maximum rotor size of 220mm.

- Custom Select

When you choose a Custom Select Jones bike, you’re opting for a bike built from your choice of Jones frame and fork. Our small team will guide you through the process. You’ll work one on one with Jeff, talking through your past riding experiences and what you want to do next. Together, you’ll pick the components that build a Jones suited to how and where you ride.

How to reserve your spot and how the process works:

Visit our Custom Select webpage (CLICK HERE) and choose the frameset and size you wish to have built up into a Custom Select bicycle. Your order serves as your deposit and cannot be changed or refunded after you order. If you have questions about sizing or anything else, please contact us before placing your order.

Once your order is placed, we'll email you a short questionnaire about you and the riding you plan to do. Then we'll schedule a time to talk through your build. You'll work directly with Jeff to go over every part, answer your questions, and choose the right components.

Once you and Jeff have chosen all your components, we’ll ask for final payment to lock in your build. After that, specs can’t be changed. We’ll then order parts and start the build, which usually takes about 4–6 weeks. Please keep in mind that this is an estimate and can vary depending on your build specs and parts availability.

Your bike will be built, tuned, tested, and adjusted at our shop in Ashland, Oregon. When it's done we will send you pictures and finalize shipping costs. You can have your bike packed and shipped to you, or pick it up at the shop. Please note there's a $15 Oregon bicycle excise tax if you pick it up here.
